Background info: Each participant is RANDOMLY assigned a MLB team that will be yours to follow throughout the season.

Rules: The first place winner is the first person who crosses off all the boxes (boxes 0-13) on the grid. Your team does not have to win the game being played in order to count that score.

Normally, the game is played with only first place. But we have played before with a second place being given to the person with the least number of boxes. This ensures that even a player with a team that always scores low can have fun.

Example: Your randomly assigned team is the New York Yankees. Tonight the Yankees play and score four runs. So now, you have the 4 box crossed off. In order to win, your team needs to score: 0-3 and 5-13. The first person to cross off all of their boxes wins first place! At this time, the person with the lowest number of boxes crossed off also wins!

In the event of a tie: Participants will guess how many runs their team will score in their next game. Whoever makes the closest guess to the actual score will be the winner. If this process results in another tie, the process will repeat for the next game until a winner is determined. This tie breaker will also apply to second place.
