MOTD w/Ryan – Bath Time (1/11)
We settled down for bath time and usually Ryan stays still and lets me quickly clean him and get him out. There was that one time where he flipped and wanted to be bathed face towards the water instead of back, but that was the only exception. My mom occasionally asks if he likes bath time and for the most part, he nothings bath time.
But today was different. The minute I got him in the water, he started splashing his little legs happily, getting water everywhere including over me. But he seemed to be splashing away pretty happily, and I didn’t mind.
Now after the bath time is another story. I usually lotion him up and dress him on our bed because there’s more room, but lately, all he wants to do is roll around everywhere and he makes it very very difficult for me to put a diaper on him, which is the number one priority. The first time we bathed him, we had him wrapped in a towel and he looked so cute so I was cuddling him, until he peed, mostly into my freshly showered hair. You live and you learn…
