Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

I have no desire to go to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I remember one year my mom and Aunt May brought the 6 of us to the Thanksgiving Day Parade and we couldn’t see anything since we were all so small and short. It was also cold and I remember we ended up going to Roy Rogers to eat instead. I just don’t like the crowds and the pushing and shoving.

This year the parade went down 7th Avenue, right by us. Our windows actually face the street and not the avenue so I didn’t think we’d be able to see anything. Ryan woke us up bright and early and around 9 am we could hear the commotion outside from the people waiting for the parade. As it got louder, Henry went to the window to take a look and discovered that we’d have a pretty decent view of the parade even though our window wasn’t on the avenue.

So somehow we did end up watching the parade live without having to battle the crowds. I was happy I got to go, without having to go. ;)
