Moment of the Day with Ryan (8/26)
This is more a moment with Henry than with Ryan. Ryan didn’t really want to sleep from midnight-4am. He would be ok for a little while in his bassinet, but would get lonely and would start to cry. Eventually I did bring him to our bed and tried to hold him to get him to sleep. By this time it was probably 3am and I was just so tired and I would start dozing off, but my boy is a smart one. Every time I would doze off, he would hit me in the face. Lucky me! He finally fell asleep after 4am when Henry was holding him. He loves falling asleep in Henry’s arms.
I had a doctor’s appointment at 11am. Henry worked from home until I got back from the doctor’s to head into work. I woke up at at 8:30am to feed Ryan and thought I should really get up, but Ryan started getting fussy, so I lay down next to him and the next thing I know, I wake up and it’s 10:44am. I run out to the living room to see why Henry didn’t wake me up and then I rush to get ready to leave, luckily my doctor isn’t too far away. But I really didn’t intend to start my day like that.
