38th Week of Pregnancy

BS is still growing and growing in my belly and I’m still getting looks left and right because I have a pretty huge belly. We’re 8 days away from our due date, it’s getting closer and closer.
- I went in for another ultrasound on Friday and the little guy is 7lb 7oz. I’m happy that he isn’t growing at an ounce/day, but in about 2 1/2 weeks, he’s gained 9 oz. I’m still wondering how Henry and I are having such a big baby. We’re a small Chinese couple, I don’t get how it happened.
- We tempted God by going to a wedding, but luckily the baby did not decide to steal anyone’s thunder. It’s odd to know that the next time I see most of my friends, Henry and I will probably be parents.
- We have our bassinet put together, courtesy of my dad, Nora and Alan. There were 70 steps, and Nora and my dad were pretty impatient and usually didn’t want to listen to the next step, but then usually ended up undoing what they did, so definitely read all the instructions before assembling.
This is as far as my list got because the next day my water broke, on the first day of week 39.
