33 Weeks of Pregnancy

I’m in my 33rd week of pregnancy now. We’re getting closer to the due date now and I still have to pack my hospital bag. On 7/1, we’re moving to a much bigger place, which makes me very happy. I hope we have time to go to Ikea to pick up some furniture for the baby’s room before he comes.

• It really hurts my back to do dishes, wash my face and brush my teeth. The big belly gets in the way of me getting close enough to the sink.
• Sometimes I wonder if people are nice to me because I’m pregnant or because I’m pregnant and I look so young.
• We’re still thinking about a name for BS.
• I was at Food Emporium buying some groceries and the girl in front of me let me pay first because I was pregnant. But I wonder if the fact that I look so young and being pregnant is what really did it.
• I found a $2 coupon off any one Seventh Generation Baby Product. But you may have to join the Seventh Generation Nation to get the coupon.
• I can’t sit too long on our couch without feeling pain in my back and legs.
• Baby Sham should be a little over 4 pounds now, but I’ll find out how big he is during week 36.
• Sometimes the baby likes to press hard on me, making it hard for me to breathe.
• I sleep well, except for the 2 or 3 times a night that I wake up to go to the bathroom. But I fall asleep again pretty quickly. But my dreams are getting stranger and stranger. And this week, this wasn’t a strange dream, but it was the falling forever thing that had my heart racing and woke me up immediately. I felt light movements from the baby, but luckily it affected me more than it affected him.
• I got a mani and pedi. It’s so nice to be pampered. I won’t have as much free time for me pampering once the little guy comes. I’m trying to get it all in, in the month and a half I have left.
• I was crossing 8th Avenue, minding my own business, when a man kept yelling “Big Mommy” at me. It was very odd.
• We’ve got 46 days to go before our due date.
