32 Weeks of Pregnancy

I’m in my 32 weeks of pregnancy now. Not much has changed, still getting bigger and bigger, and tired. But I’m trying to not let it slow me down, in moderation, of course. I’m not running myself ragged or anything…
But the major developments this week have been:
- We haven’t signed the lease yet, but it’s pretty official we’re moving on 7/1. It’s going to be a faster commute for me and for Henry. It’s a spacious 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom apartment. I also love the 4 walk in closets. Each bedroom is the size of my current living room, and well the living room will be even larger. Only draw back is the kitchen, it’s barely there. But beggars can’t be choosers…
- I went in for my regular exam. The baby‘s heart rate is good, my blood pressure is still good at 100/70. Next appointment will be in 2 weeks. I’ll be going in for my last ultrasound during week 36 to see how much room BS has in there. He’s still moving around a lot, so I imagine he’s still got space.
- I was originally using Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion For Stretch Marks
to keep stretch marks away. And I haven’t seen any yet. But once I was done, I decided to give Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizer With Vitamin E
a try. It seems a lot harder to spread on and I don’t think it moisturizes as well. So I am switching back to Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion For Stretch Marks, though I prefer the smell of the other one. But if it doesn’t keep me moisturized it’s just not doing its job.
- It’s getting really really harder to get out of bed. Not because I’m tired, but the act of rolling over to my left side, pushing my body up and getting on my feet just tires me out.
- Occasionally at the end of the day I will notice that my right ankle has turned into a cankle. Yes, gross! But it’s really hard to keep my feet elevated while in the office. They say wearing support stockings help, but that’s just not going to happen in June and July living in NYC.
- We’re still working on a name. Kaylee sent us a whole list that we will look through, while we’re enjoying the Kit Kat she sent too.
- After 32 weeks of pregnancy, I still find it amazing that I have a baby growing inside of me. I just don’t get how that can be, but the little guy is there pushing and shoving and kicking.
- I’ve been having very very weird dreams, from the ones I remember when I wake up. There was one involving lots of mice that woke me up. My heart was racing, the poor baby had hiccups and I was having Braxton Hicks contractions. I couldn’t go back to sleep because every time I closed my eyes, I’d see mice everywhere. I wonder what it means, besides I’m scared of mice.
- I’m having more problems applying lotion to my legs. It’s hard to do anything that would require me to bend straight down, the belly gets in the way. Just like I have issues tying my shoelaces and buckling shoes.
- We have 53 days to go.
