Oreo McFlurry
I hung out with Ally and Sandy for dinner. We went to Gobo for some very yummy vegetarian food and will turn into a monthly event for us. We started with black sesame mushroom roll with mango chutney and eggplant stuffed with herbed tofu cheese, both very were good and tasty. I got the sizzling soy cutlet platter with black pepper sauce which was fantastic and reminded me of general tso’s chicken. Sandy got the nori wrapped tofu in thai red curry sauce, which is a take on fish. It was good but Sandy thought it was a little too sour. Ally wasn’t too hungry so she got rolls. We split mango, coconut and tapioca pudding topped with macadamia nut brittle for dessert. It was good and refreshing.

After dinner, I was very very stuffed. But once I got back and was in Times Square and saw the Coldstone Creamery, I needed to have ice cream. But passed on Coldstone and decided to get Ben & Jerry’s instead. But to my horror, it closed down. I also saw that Empanada Joe’s closed down too, that one didn’t last too long. But I prefer Empanada Mama’s, we get it at work occasionally and most of us love it. Anyway, I was disappointed that Ben & Jerry’s was closed, and could have gone to Red Mango, but called up my Nora and she suggested a McFlurry from McDonald’s. I mulled it over and it was a good substitution.

I got home and thoroughly enjoyed my Oreo McFlurry, even though i was still kind of full from dinner. It was money well spent!
