Tony Awards Tonight
I usually don’t watch the Tonys because I only watch a handful of shows a year, and only since I’ve moved into the city have I watched more.
But I’m DVRing tonight’s Tony Awards (on CBS, starting @ 8pm). Why? The original principal cast members and current Broadway cast members of Rent are going to have a special performance. And everybody knows how much I love Rent right?? So, it’s a must see for me tonight. If you wanted to know, Whoopi Goldberg is the host for the Tony Awards tonight.
And I’m still trying to see it at least one more time on Broadway before it’s gone for good. It’s one of those shows that will probably not return to Broadway.

It’s pretty dated now, so unless they find a new location to base the show on, it can’t really come back.
