Giants Win!
Greatest upset ever!!!
I’m so excited that the Giants won and living in Times Square, I can hear everybody else is excited. I hear a lot of car honking, screaming, yelling and hooting for the Giants. I really didn’t think they could. Come on, Patriots had an 18-0 record, it just didn’t seem possible that the Giants had a chance. But the New York Giants won 17-14. I loved that Tom Brady lost and Eli Manning won, only because I dislike Tom Brady that much. But Eli Manning should learn to close his mouth. Everytime they panned to him, he was there with his mouth open catching flies. But I can overlook that since they won.
Things I noted on my Blackberry while watching the Super Bowl are:
- Jordin Sparks did a good job with the national anthem. She has a very pop-ish voice and she sounds like she has a Disney voice. I could picture her singing any of those Disney songs. She was later seen wearing a Giants jersey. Her dad used to play for the Giants and the Dallas Cowboys.
- I liked the G2 commercial with Derek Jeter and Peyton Manning, probably because I’m a New York Yankees fan.
- There was also a cool Audi commercial with a very cool look Audi.
- I hated the Careerbuilders commercials, especially the one with the woman’s heart jumping out of her chest.
- I want to see Wall-E. The commercial got me and it’s Pixar.
- I hated the salesgenie.com commercials. They are better than last year, but they seem to be making fun of Asians (Indians and Chinese) in the two commercials I saw. Not cool!
- I really liked the NFL Super Ad (http://superad.nfl.com/), Mr. Oboe (Chester Pitts). It was a great commercial and very heartwarming.
- I noticed that there was a commercial with the Hodges (Wallace Langham) from CSI (Six Flags) and the Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) from Bones (cars.com). I guess they have to make money while the WGA strike is still going on.
- I loved the Coke commercial with Stewie from Family Guy and Underdog as balloons in what could be a Thanksgiving Day parade chasing after the Coke balloon. The best part was finding out who wins the Coke.
- I am wondering if any of the other Patriot Super Bowl wins will be questioned since they got caught taping signals this year. I know I would question them now.
Side note: Henry and I were at Nelson’s watching the Super Bowl and we had a sheet of boxes. I actually won the 2nd quarter and half time with 3-7. Kin won the first quarter and the last quarter. I also have to give props to Kin for wearing his Giants jersey and having faith in the Giants.
