Restaurant Week is back, running January 21-January 25 and January 28-February 1. You can get a three-course prix-fixe lunch for $24.07 and a three-course prix-fixe dinner for $35, excluding beverages, tip and tax.

If you use an American Express card to charge your meal, $0.50 will be donated to City Harvest. It’s capped at $25,000, which would mean 50k people would have to charge their meals on an AmEx card. Do that many people take advantage of Restaurant Week? It seems kind of low to me, but that’s just me.

There are over 200 restaurants participating. For a list of restaurants, go to: http://nycvisit.com/restaurantweek/

you’re awesome, Oda! without you, i would never know what’s going on in the NY. i dont ever usually do any of the events, anyway, but i like to know what’s going on. this year, i think we’re going to try a few restaurants during restaurant week.

your brother and i have tried a few of them the last few years. it’s a good way to try some of the more expensive places.
