Wedding Dresses
Nora and I went to look at some wedding dresses with Cora, our cousin, who’s big day is 6/7/8. We liked the dresses that she tried on a lot. I think she’s going to try a few more before she makes her final decision.
While waiting for Cora, we would see other girl’s coming out in wedding dresses, a lot of times they didn’t look good at all. But their friends and family would tell their bride that it looked great, was very flattering, yada, yada, yada. One of these girls kept trying on very plain dresses, which is fine, but it kind of looked like mummy wrappings on her and the styles she kept trying on made her hips look really big. Not a good thing! Another girl tried on dress after dress and nothing looked good on her but her entourage was very encouraging about each one. It is a shame that these brides bring “yes women” with them because the last thing they want is to look ugly on their big days.

yeah i heard about that, but yes i have work. besides i would be scared going there. kin’s sister in law went with her friend when she was getting married and she waited from 4am!!!!

i went when i was getting married. they only had one dress that i saw that was a size 0 or 2, but some girl wouldn’t take off, probably because it was way too tight on her! everything else was huge.

thanks! can you believe i bought that dress at the last minute and didn’t need alterations? i wanted one in every color they had but henry said no. =(

wow no alterations for you is def good! screw henry, you should of bought it in all the colors. you’re the one making the dough while he’s unemployed and vacationing.
