Nintendo Wii
I haven’t had much to blog about, nothing much has been happening in my life and I’ve been sick. I’m almost better now. But sometime during last week, Ben told me that Toys R Us had Nintendo Wii’s on sale and was nice enough to pick up one for us. Since it was raining this afternoon, we didn’t go out and decided to plug the Nintendo Wii and give it a try.
Henry created Mii’s of both him and me. They didn’t really have my hairstyle so we had to pick one that was sort of close, but not really. We only have one Wii Remote, so I let Henry play with it first. Since we only have Wii Sports, he didn’t have a lot of options. He went through golf, then tennis, baseball and bowling. I was laughing at Henry playing tennis, he was running back and forth in our living room, when you really didn’t have to. He worked up quite a sweat playing all the games.
I gave golf a try and it was pretty fun. Henry and I played against each other for a round too, he won. =(
Our next purchase will be one more remote and maybe another game or two, but they are damn expensive.

henry went to the times square toys r us that closes at 10pm, and it was before 10pm and it was closed!!! so he couldn’t pick up the wiimote today, but he’ll probably pick that up and the wii play game too. we were looking for it everywhere, because it looked so fun when you and dada were playing it.
i’m testing out this amazon thing that automatically picks up text and links things for you. i have no clue why they are linking “henry” to “black stallion”. as you can see, it’s a little buggy.

I figured out why your brother’s name links to “black stallion”. on the black stallion soundtrack there is a song titled “Henry.”

I hurt my wrist playing Mario party on wii. I beat everyone on Wii but to beat them it kills your wrist cartilidge. I couldn’t type for a week. Oh yeah, my brother modded his Wii with a Wiikey modchip and you can just copy all the wii games onto dvd-r and play them on that. If you want I’ll ask him what the guy’s email he sent his wii to. it’s like 150 bucks to mod it but you’ll never have to buy another wii or gamecube game again.

a friend of mine also modded his wii. he highly recommends it. just be sure you dont get a shady guy to do it.

i picked up wii play and another wii remote today. but henry and i haven’t had a chance to make use of both of them yet.
