Awkward Neighbor Situations
We (at work) had a party last week at the Hearst tower for our Sales & Marketing team. I was there early, before most of our clients showed up and a server is walking towards me and my co-worker, and she looks really familiar. As she gets closer I realize she’s my neighbor, not just living in my building neighbor, but her and her husband/partner own the two apartments in our section of three apartments. It was quite awkward, and the rest of the night was just as awkward and uncomfortable.
But, Henry had an even more awkward situation. He was going to work on Sunday, but came back to get his iPod. I hear him and open the door and he has a strange look on his face, but asks me to get his iPod. When he comes home that night, he tells me he gave me that strange look because when he came back, our neighbor was going from one apartment to the other one in a t-shirt and panties. Very awkward. Henry apologized, but she said it was her fault. Now that is awkward!
