Skinny Cow Sandwiches
Mike, Kit, Nick and I met up after work for some sushi. We wanted to go to Kodama, our usual spot, but there was a 20 minute wait. We decided to give the place across the street, Rio & You, a try. We got our usual shrimp shumai and edamame. The shrimp shumai is much better at Kodama. The edamame tasted fresher here. The sushi was ok, but they were smaller pieces. But we got a nice complimentary fruit place and green tea. And the staff was very friendly.
After dinner, we took the long walk home across the street. We went up to Mike and Kit’s for some dessert of Skinny Cow Sandwiches. I’ve never had them before, but have heard of Skinny Cow. I got to try the Strawberry Shortcake flavor. It was delicious! I want to try coffee, cookies ‘n cream and mint, but I think they will be harder to find. Mike and Kit also introduced Tasti D-Lite, another yummy dessert.
