Norman Foster Building in London

Norman Foster building in London The Hearst Tower is one of Lord Norman Foster‘s buildings and so is this pickle-like/phallic looking building that we saw in London. This one is the London headquarters of Swiss Re, informally known as “The Gherkin” according to our bus tour guide.

There was also another strange one we saw that Henry couldn’t get a picture of that was also a Lord Norman Foster building. The other building we saw was the London City Hall, also known as “the Leaning Tower of Pizzas” or “Foster’s Nutsack”. Our bus tour guide didn’t seem fond of either buildings.

I prefer the Hearst Tower to either of these buildings, but I guess I’m biased, even if I no longer actually work in the tower and am banished to another Hearst office.
