Laundry Woes

We designated tonight as laundry night. But I got home late from work so Henry actually started the laundry without me, I think this was the first time ever. I was slightly nervous, but also happy that he was officially doing the laundry.

But when I went to get the last load of laundry out of the dryer, I noticed that anything pink now did not look pink anymore, but looked dirty instead. Turns out Henry put one of his darker pair of jeans into the laundry with some of my pink stuff, but luckily no whites were included. But now my pink stuff (mostly my unmentionables) are no longer pink, but are grayish color now. Gross! But I can’t complain too much, Henry still did most of the laundry by himself.

Ahhh, the good old “messing up the laundry so no one ever asks me to do the laundry again” trick. I know it well.

That’s what you think Mark, he will definitely be forced to do it again, until he gets it right!

We have a laundry room in the basement of our building. There are about 10 washers and 10 dryers.

I can’t believe Mark beat you by a minute!

i like that idea- make him do laundry until he gets it right. it’s like how mom & dad used to make us eat food until we liked it, thereby having to eat more ‘cuz now we like it. oh, they were wily ones!
