Bad Friday
Something tells me today is not going to be a good Friday. First I go to Duane Reade to pick up some stuff and when I go to pay, there’s no one at the cash registers and two other people are waiting. After about 5 minutes, with the line growing longer, the security guy gets on the loud speaker to get someone to the registers. Finally two guys come, nice and slowly to help us.
I get in around 8 and what do you know, we do not have an internet connection. It’s kind of hard doing what I do without an internet connection. I call the help desk, they verify it’s not just me but have no ETA on when it will be back up. In about 20 minutes it comes back up, so I try to pull a couple of reports, only to find the reporting tool I use is either down or having issues. And through all this we have maintenance workers drilling in our walls.
What a Friday!
