Holiday Shopping

I ventured out to do some holiday shopping today. I walked out Columbus Circle to the Time Warner Center. The whole point was to pick up a children’s book for my work holiday party tomorrow. They want us to bring an unwrapped children’s book. I get to Borders and it’s packed. I look around for a bit, but the thought of waiting in line for my estimate of 30 minutes was very unappealing so I left. I went into J. Crew to try to find something for Monica, but it too was packed. I did however see a family from Chicago, their son was trying on a women’s sweater. I went into Esprit, wasn’t too packed in there but I couldn’t find anything. Sephora was also packed. I gave up shopping and bought some groceries at Whole Foods. I coudl not for the life of me find gingerbread cookies there, but I did find the machines to make fresh peanut butter, their almond butter is delicious.

So my holiday shopping today was pretty uneventful, but I was able to order some stuff on Amazon last night.
