Dresses AND Jeans?
I’ll admit it, I’m not too fashionable. But I really really don’t understand wearing a dress and jeans. Either you want to wear a dress or you want to wear jeans, I kind of feel you really can’t do both.
Where is this coming from? Nora had IMmed me a dress from Banana Republic that she likes, it’s called Petite silk jersey bubble dress. It’s kind of cute, but I read the overview and part of it says, “wear it over tights, legging or jeans and under cozy knit cardigans”. I don’t get it, why are they encouraging you to wear it with jeans? I really do not understand the look. And then of course, I got to the pantry to throw something out and see a girl in a dress and jeans and then when I leave the pantry, I see another girl in a dress and jeans. It is complete madness!

this post will make me rethink about wearing my dress (the one i wore to nora’s wedding) over my jeans. funny thing is, i think it could possibly go.

i get in this morning and am talking to my co-worker and realize she is wearing a dress and a skirt! I don’t think I’ll ever get it.

a dress AND a skirt? okay, yeah, that’s going way too far. i love layering, but that’s going overboard.

Oops, I mean pants. She was wearing a dress and pants. A dress and skirt would be silly. =) But I also think dress and pants are silly.

they suggest wearing jeans underneath in hope that you’ll spend more money on their website and buy a pair of jeans from them … or think of the dress as a really long shirt (or tube top) …
tights & legging are just what’s “hot” right now …
