I think Ming’s birthday was the first one we celebrated this year. Sorry June (well you kind of get screwed every year), George, Mark, Wendy and Vinny. In case anyone is wondering next are Guo, Elaine, Henry, Kin, Wai, Me, Teddy, Pat, Jimmy and Nelson (hope I didn’t leave anyone off). Anyway, we started out at New York Kom Tang Soot Bul House (32 W 32nd Street) with Korean BBQ. We’ve been there once before, food is decent, not too pricey and they help you cook the BBQ stuff. (For those of you at dinner, I went to Roosevelt Field and stopped by Sharper Image to pick up the you know what for Henry. We can all sigh in relief that he will not be doing you know what with a you know what anymore. Guo and Teddy: if it turns out not to be good, you will be hearing from Henry.)

We ended the night at Gstaad (43 W 26th St). When we got there it wasn’t too packed so that was nice and we were able to get some a table to sit at and an area around the bar. If you use the bathrooms, when you wash your hands, if someone is washing their hands next to you, you can see the water running, kind of cool, they had a place in Vegas like that too. It was pretty nice there and didn’t get too crowded. It was nice to see everyone and hopefully we can do it a little more often.
