We don’t have any signs of Jack. Chloe looks like she’s going to cry. She doesn’t see Jack from the air. Jack is, of course, okay. He walks out carrying Bierko on his shoulder. Jack calls Buchanan on a secure line and he’s scared about what Henderson is going on. Karen is on the phone with the VP and he insists they absorb CTU. Karen and Miles are trying to bring Buchanan down so that it will make the absorbing easier. They want to use Audrey. Bill tells Audrey that Homeland is taking over, but she doesn’t believe it. Aaron is with Wayne, they are at the presidential retreat. Aaron wants to know why they wanted to kill Wayne. Wayne says there is a source inside the White House, Mrs. Logan’s assitant, Evelyn Martin. Evelyn talks to Martha and then leaves. But she is stopped by Wayne and Aaron. She wants to go home but they don’t let her go. She was sending e-mails to David Palmer. He’s got records of the correspondences so Wayne knows that Evelyn knows something. So they have kidnapped her little girl, her baby. She has proof about who’s behind everything today and that they are going to kill her baby. She thinks if she gives them the proof they’ll let her baby go. She’ll give up the evidence if Wayne gets her back her daughter. I guess Wayne and/or Paul will die getting the daughter back.

It’s starting to happen, Homeland Security is there to take over. Miles speaks to Audrey privately. Audrey and Chloe share a look before they go into the room. Wayne calls up Jack, how does Wayne know Jack’s phone number?? Wayne is enlisting Jack’s help. I wonder if Evelyn can be trusted. Audrey refuses to sign the statement that Miles drafted. The statement distorts what actually happens. Now Miles is blackmailing Audrey by agreeing not to put any blame on her since she was at CTU all day and was an active particpant and made decisions. She doesn’t give in and still refuses to sign. He must be stupid if he thinks Audrey will sign it. Jack is suspicious of the VP, Jack thinks he may be involved. He needs some satellites recast by Chloe, except Chloe was let go. Audrey reconsiders signing the statement, so as to not reflect anything badly on her father. But she wants one thing, Chloe to be kept on and will report to her. Miles is resistant, but Karen agrees to it. Poor Buchanan. Henderson has Evelyn’s daughter and he says he will take care of her, whatever that means.

Evelyn is at her car, Wayne is on his way out there too. The VP runs into Wayne and is surprised and wonders why Wayne is there. Wayne hides his injured hand. Aaron covers for him by saying Wayne was there to give a memento from David to Aaron. Wayne says he has to go catch a plane and can’t see the President. Miles just let Chloe know she gets a pass. Miles gives up Audrey to Buchanan. Again, poor Buchanan. But he doesn’t think Audrey would sign it. She has to play along in front of Buchanan, Chloe and Miles. Bill looks devasted. Evleyn refuses to give up any information to Wayne until she gets her daughter back. Evelyn told David because she trusted him and never thought it would endanger him and feels she has David’s blood on her hands. Henderson calls Evelyn and Wayne patches through Jack. He wants to know why Wayne was at the retreat. She insists that she didn’t know that Wayne was there, but Henderson knows that Wayne would be there to see her. Bill gives Audrey a dirty look before he walks out of CTU. Chloe doesn’t want to help Audrey, but she says Jack needs her.

19 minutes to go… Eyelyn and Wayne are in some barn. Wayne knows that something is wrong and pulls Evelyn in to hide. Jack comes in. He promises to get back her daughter. She still refuses to give up any information. Henry says Jack should just torture her. Henry also doesn’t think the VP is involved, it would be too obvious. Jack wants Wayne to stay behind, but Wayne wants to go along because he was in the Marines. But Jack doesn’t want to put him in harm’s way especially becauase he was never in combat. Wayne refuses to stay behind because these people shot his brother and David died in his arms. Jack lets him go. The President seems to be happy, until the VP tells him Wayne was here. The VP tries to get President Logan to be suspicious of Wayne’s visit. Henry still thinks that it would be too obvious if the VP is really evil. I would like everything to go okay with the exchange, but this is 24, so something will go wrong, and Evelyn will probably get die. Hopefully Wayne doesn’t die too.

10:52:04… Jack and Wayne are making there way around the building. Jack shots one hostile. Bet Wayne never did that. Jack sends Wayne off because there’s too many hostiles. Henry thinks Wayne will give them up by either being too loud or will hesitate in killing the guy. Oh, there, he’s hesitating, but he got the job done. Jack slits a hostile’s neck. Jack rigs his walkie talkie to report back to Henderson. Henderson makes Evelyn open all the doors and trunk to the SUV. Henderson is going out with the girl to Evelyn. They let Evelyn go, Jack starts shooting the rest of the hostiles. Henderson runs into the SUV and drives away. Evelyn has been hit and they’ve lost Henderson. Evelyn’s wound is not serious but will have to be dressed. She says it’s not the Vice President. We see Henderson on the phone with and he is on the phone with President Logan!! I thought it would be Logan or Mike because, like Henry said, it would be too obvious if it is the Vice President.

But this isn’t making any sense. President Logan has been on it the whole day? Has he just been faking that he’s an idiot for the whole season? Is Martha in on it too? Is she just a pawn? Wow, so President Logan had President Palmer killed? Nothing makes sense. How are they going to tie it all together?

Next week’s 24: Henderson has to focus on stopping Bauer according to Logan. Karen is letting Audrey led them to Bauer. Is Karen in on it too? Aaron warns Jack that they will have everybody after him. I think the evidence is in some kind of bank.
