It boggles my mind that Fox is creating new Family Guy‘s yet won’t do it for Futurama. Henry and I used to have Batman: The Animated Series on our DVR, and the cartoon was great, we started watching it when we were still in college at Binghamton, but basically we got to the point where we’ve watched practically every episode, so we removed it from the DVR. Recently Henry added Futurama to our DVR, we watched it when it premiered, but it kept on getting moved around and that was way before we had DVR so we stopped watching it, but now it’s back on Cartoon Network and we don’t know why the show was canceled.

The episode we watched today revolved our Leela’s past. The big surprise is that Leela is not really an alien but a mutant. Her parents are mutants who live in the sewers who left her at an orphanage in hopes of giving her a better life, as an alien. We never thought we’d find out about Leela’s past, we just thought it would be one of those things that would never be explained. It was very satisfying episode and very well done and I really wonder why Fox won’t revive it. I think Family Guy (and American Dad) are pure crap. But that’s just me.
