Grey’s Anatomy – What Have I Done to Deserve This?
I really like Grey’s Anatomy, it is now one of my new favorite shows, to the annoyance of Henry. He also doesn’t understand my infatuation with Patrick Dempsey. He’s such a hottie!
Weird, George is narrating. George regrets something. Addison wants to talk to Derek. Usually he yells when he is mad and he hasn’t yet. Meredith is trying to sneak out of the house without seeing George and George is trying to sneak out of the house as they both see Alex running out of Izze’s room while putting on his pants. When Alex, Izzie and Cristina see how odd George and Meredith are Alex thinks George caught Meredith doing Mark. Then he thinks George caught her doing McDreamy. Izzie, of course, has to ask what is going on because she wants to help. A patient has a large mass around his heart, they are not sure what it is yet. George wants to talk to someone, but he wants to tell them anything if Meredith hasn’t said someting. Addison is walking very strnagely and keeps on touching her butt. All the interns see it. There’s another patient, an 11-year old boy who was hit in the hit with a baseball. Addison goes to see Bailey, she needs a consult, even though Bailey isn’t working. She has poison okay where no one wants poison oak.
Tucker is ready to go home. He tells Derek and Webber that Addison asked Bailey for a consult, something personal. Bailey is taking care of Addison, the blisters are growing very fast. Alex and asking Meredith about George. She admits she did do something bad. The patient with the mass has an aneruysm, his fiance is in denial. George believes in karma, the couple are good people and good people deserve good thing. Cristina yells at him about how he can believe that and practice medicine. He thinks there should be some balance which prompts Burke to say, “Good god O’Malley, what did Grey do to you?” The fathers of the 10-year old boy are so cute, one is a worry wart and the other one is the stable one. The boy is cute too. Alex paged Izzie to give her a cup cake. Denny is wheeled out of the ambulance as they are kissing outside and she runs off.
Izzie is freaking out over Denny. Webber sees Bailey getting supplies when she should not be working and should be on maternity leave. The patient with the heart problem hasn’t decided about the surgery yet. They want to wait till after the wedding. Cristina tells the patient he’ll be okay until he dies, so being okay or having nothing change isn’t good. Bailey finally asks Addison what she did to get the poison oak. She slept with Mark (a year ago) and this is what she gets. While walking the dog, she had to pee, so she squatted because she didn’t want to go inside and wake up Derek becauase of the way he’s been looking at her. She starts to cry. Addison crying is making Bailey lactate. Webber hears and knocks on the door and sees her breasts lactating, he apologizes and walks out. The 10-year old boy took a turn for the worst and one of his father’s refuses to leave the son’s side when they are working on him, I think with a drill to his head.
They are in the clear with the boy, for now. Alex gets a 911 page. It was Izzie, Denny’s heart is beating too quickly. She also paged Burke. Denny wakes up and is happy to see Izzie. Alex is using the pandles on Denny and is looking a little too happy to be sending electrical currents through Denny. But it works and his heart beat becomes more regular. Derek is trying to catch up with Bailey, he’s been paging her and Addison but no one is answering but Bailey won’t say why. So Derek plays the I saved your husband card, but she comes back with the Addison saved my baby one, so baby trumps husband, as Derek puts it. Meredith walks the other way when she sees George coming down the hall. Amy, has kept every single one of her wedding receipts, she thinks she was tempting fate by keeping them all. She doesn’t want it all to end in a blink of an eye. Alex sees Meredith hiding, he starts off with, “Alright, you slept with O’Malley, get over it.” and is shocked that his guess was right when Meredith confirms it. Meredith bursts Alex bubble when he thinks Izzie has forgive him. George walks in and really pissed that he thinks Meredith told Alex that they slept together. Now they are trying to talk, and he screams out that she wants to talk now that she’s told everyone that they had sex, except she didn’t. He then rolls down the stairs, and of course Alex finds it funny.
Break: I hate when the show goes to a commerical break and the commercials are louder than the show and I have to lower the volume, only to have to raise it again when the show comes back on.
George dislocated his shoulder. Izzie tells Meredith that if she can’t fix this and they have to pick sides, she’s picking George. The doctor that comes into help George recognizes him as the doctor with the hand in the heart while in the elevator doctor. She pops it back in for him, it looked okay but sounded gross. She kind of looks smitten with George. Meredith and Derek are in an elevator alone. She tells him not to be nice to her because she’s done a terrible thing. She thinks she’ll lose all her friends and he says she won’t lose him, but she doesn’t think he’s her friend. She doesn’t think they can be friends. He suggests that they can hang out, when he’s walking her dog, have coffee and “discuss the complex nature of our existence”. But she insists that they can’t be friends. Izzie is back monitoring Denny. He asks her about karma. Alex sees them laughing and talking. Bailey arranges it so that Derek and Addison have to talk, with a curtain between them. She tells him she has poison oka and shows him where. He laughs at her and actually looks happy for once. Now George is annoyed that Meredith really didn’t tell Cristina. He didn’t matter enough for her to talk about. She gets fed up and tells him to stop with the pity thing. Go Cristina! I just hate hate hate weak men. Keith, the heart patient will have the surgery, but he is no longer engaged to Amy. She isn’t strong enough to for it so she is leaving. She’s leaving him because she insists she isn’t strong enough. Keith starts to crash and Amy leaves.
Commerical: There was a very odd commerical for the Oscars. For a second I thought something happened and Desperate Housewives cut into Grey’s Anatomy 50 minutes into the show.
George is watching Burke operating on Keith. Olivia shows up and talks to George about the Meredith situation and basically if she doesn’t love him back then she doesn’t deserve him. He apologizes to her if he had done the samething to her. George is home and packing a suitcase and remembers sleeping with Meredith. She started to get upset and started to cry and he stormed out. George is moving out. Meredith is home and he asks her why and he asks her why she did it if she didn’t want it. But he was there, saying all the perfect things, so she gave it a chance in case she was overlooking him. She wants everything to go back to the way it was but he doesn’t want to go back. But they’re done and he’s leaving. Izzie is dressed up and putting on lipstick when Alex asks if she’s ready. He thought they had plans, but she forgot and asks for a rain check. Keith wakes up asking for Amy, Burke has to tell him that she isn’t here. Keith’s surprised that she really left and can’t believe she did it. Izzie shows up at Denny’s room with dinner for them for their first date. The doctor that helped fix George’s arm, Cathy, sees him sitting with his bag. She gives him her number. Burke sees George sitting there and Burke offers to hep out George, to the annoyance of George because if it’s not surgical, George doesn’t need their help. Derek is walking the dog and Meredith is there. They are going to just be friends.
