New Year’s Eve 2006
We didn’t get a white Christmas, but it looks like we’ll be getting a white New Year’s Eve. It started snowing lightly this morning, and got pretty heavy this afternoon. I snapped a couple of pictures at around 5pm when the snowflakes were huge and sticking to window ledges and the tops of cars. I hate this kind of weather, it makes me want to stay home to be dry and warm.
How am I spending my New Year’s Eve? So far I’ve been to the dentist, walked to my parent’s house with Henry to fix our flat tire, started teaching myself PHP, watched some of the Twilight Zone marathon (and added others to the DVR). Right now the Twilight Zone episode is called “A Game of Pool” with Jack Klugman and Jonathan Winters, Henry’s watched it before and tells me it’s a great episode.
And finally I’m gonna be at the East in Elmhurst for a buffet dinner. We were there last year, there was a raffle for different prizes, the best my group did was win a VCR. Hopefully this year they’ll realize VCRs are out.
